Clark College Opens New Advanced Manufacturing Center

Staff Report / Vancouverlocal.org

Clark College in Vancouver, Washington, has announced the completion of construction on its new Advanced Manufacturing Center. The 49,000-square-foot facility, located at the Ridgefield campus, will serve as a hub for advanced manufacturing training. A ceremony was held earlier this week to mark the passing of keys from the developer and design-builder, Mortenson.

The college is currently preparing to furnish the building and anticipates starting general education classes in Fall 2025. Dr. Karin Edwards, President of Clark College, emphasized that the center will provide important opportunities for skill development in a growing field and will help support the workforce in the region.

The Advanced Manufacturing Center is also a LEED-certified building, reflecting sustainability in its design and construction. Additional information about the center can be found on Clark College's official website.
